Currently we are looking for UAE National & Arab National candidates for Project Manager – Governance for our client in Abu Dhabi - Government entity. Please find below the job requirement: • Lead the formation of committees and boards responsible for monitoring and ensuring appropriate governance for education sector projects • Ensure the full cycle of committee support is implemented effectively and efficiently to a high standards • Manage the development of policy and guidelines for committees and maintain the database • Lead the improvement and development of current governance arrangements across and ensure that best practices are reflected • Coordinate all corrective action plans through provision of timely resolutions and escalation to senior management if required • Provide professional governance support and advice ensuring effective arrangement of meetings, maintenance of progression plans and records of decisions made and actions taken • Collaborate with the section chief to develop the policies and procedures for the unit in alignment with mission and vision • Oversee the strategy and plan for the unit and delegation of responsibilities across the Governance team • Manage the Education Sector Governance framework, conducting periodic reviews and provide updates. • Manage the institutional development roadmap for differentiation of the key roles. • Manage the development of programs and initiatives with an aim to ensure institutional effectiveness to support vision, mission and goals • Provide the necessary support to the section chief and perform any other duties as required • Ensure each Governance committee complies with its Charter regarding timeliness of meetings, record keeping, responsibilities and reporting • Establish systems & procedures for management of all records for the four Governance Committees and ensure their confidentiality and controlled access at all times
1. Governance o Ensure adherence and execution of the unit's policies and procedures as defined by the Division Director o Ensure compliance of the unit to the guidelines defined by the risk management and quality management guidelines o Participate and provide inputs in the periodic audit of the established policies and procedures to ensure compliance 2. Management Reporting o Contribute to the development of the periodic reports, as requested by Section Head / Division Director o Propose and recommend remedial activities to manage any quality or non-compliance issues that arise during the review of unit’s performance 3. Change Management o Manage the execution of the change management activities in the unit including all stakeholder communications as per the approved communication plan, as required 4. Technology Management o Contribute to defining of the technology-related needs of the unit ,including SMART services and system, to drive automation within the direct line of work 5. Personal Development o Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
