ROLE STATEMENT 1- To oversee and assist in Project Management plans along with Project Managers at all entities under ACTVET. 2- To provide guidance to project management best practices by utilizing the developed project management methodology and ensuring adherence and best practice. 3- To follow up the implementation of MoUs and contracts signed by ACTVET. PRINCIPLE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Effectively apply recognized PM methodology and enforce project standards 2. Monitor and assist to ensure projects are on track and managed risks 3. Produce progress reports feed into Project Portfolio Manager Dashboard 4. Ensure all lines of communication are constantly maintained 5. Utilize an escalation process for issues & high risks 6. Facilitate training sessions with entities, associates and others as needed 7. Understand the financial models and ensure program owners are within budget 8. Conduct evaluation sessions upon project completion and lessons learned 9. Minimizes exposure and risk on projects 10. Guidance, coaching and training for Associates 11. Create a climate which encourages excellence 12. Pragmatic use of program/project management disciplines to bring tangible benefits to the business at lowest possible cost in shortest possible time 13. Participate in a cultural change to create an understanding with professional approach 14. Promote and share best practices in project management. 15. Any additional task requested by management
