General Description: - Consultant for strategic analysis and planning in Daman Main Duties: - Develop / review strategy framework e.g., strategic approach and goals, balanced scorecard, target markets / segments, etc. - Define / review Daman's strategic planning process including guidelines and standards - Analyse, assess and make recommendations on value and feasibility of strategic and financial opportunities and potential growth options for Daman - Provide strategic support to business units, leadership and project teams - Prepare, facilitate and conduct strategy seminars, workshops, etc. - Conduct market, trend, competitor, and other analyses to test and validate hypotheses and determine opportunities - Prepare, support and accompany strategy communication with internal and external stakeholders - Prepare presentations / statements / input for internal or external stakeholders as needed - Interface management and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders as needed - Lead / support projects and initiatives as needed
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the (health) insurance industry - Very good knowledge and experience in strategy development and strategic business planning - Good understanding of health insurance business models is preferred - Experience in project management is an advantage - Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or similar qualification - Master's Degree is preferred - Very good business understanding and background - Good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills - Very good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage - Very good analytical, planning, forecasting, execution and problem solving skills - Ability to acquire and apply new skills - Flexible and able to work under pressure - Respect and promote trust and confidentiality - Results oriented whilst ensuring high quality of work and able to "think out of the box" - Strong level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions - Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables - Good knowledge of health insurance concepts - Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
