NPCC was established in April 1973 to fabricate steel structures required by the onshore and offshore Oil and gas production industry. Since the late seventies saw NPCC witness considerable expansion with the construction of its own pipe coating plants and launching successful offshore services division providing full marine spreads for pipe laying, installation and hook-up works.
NPCC's dynamic growth, past achievement and new facilities have transformed this local company into a major international (EPC) contractor.
General Holding Corporation (GHC) holds 70% of NPCC shares whilst Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCIC) holds 30% of the shares.
NPCC has received several awards from reputable international institutions for its excellent safety record such as, the British safety council sword of honour in 1989 for being one of the top 30 safest companies in the world and the major Offshore Contracts 2002. Safety award by ' International Pipeline and offshore contractors Association (IPLOCA) and ADNOC HSE Award for 2002 and 2003. NPCC received Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in 2005,2009 and received Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Business Award in 2006.
Today, NPCC, as an established international EPC contractor, provides clients total engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPC) services in the development of offshore and onshore oil and gas Project across the Arabian Gulf and India.
