General Description: The Emiratisation Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of the Emiratisation Strategy of Daman with a focus on the attraction, development, engagement and retention of UAE nationals including the graduates’ development programme. Main Duties: • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Emiratisation programmes. • Collaborate with senior management at Daman to develop and disseminate appropriate Emiratisation policies and procedures, and advises internal stakeholders on the proper application of relevant policies and procedures. • Work pro-actively with HR and Line Managers to understand and respond to future and current resourcing requirements and align development programmes accordingly. • Assist in the development of a plan to attract UAE nationals to Daman with a clearly articulated set of employer branding messages. • Work closely with Human Resources team to ensure that UAE National recruitment and development programmes are prioritised. • Set Emiratisation targets and work with senior management to identify positions and departments to be filled with UAE Nationals. • Collaborate with the business and HR team to develop programmes that encourage the recruitment and development of UAE Nationals. • Advise on UAE National employee relations issues. • Participate in careers fairs, network meetings and government sponsored initiatives to promote Daman’s brand as an ‘employer of choice’ for UAE nationals. • Support Emirati workforce development and line managers through the planning, delivery, and evaluation of career development plans, professional development activities and retention strategies. • Work as an active member of the HR team to develop engagement initiatives aimed at increasing loyalty and retention to the company including formulating and presenting new ideas. • Conduct internal surveys, market research, and networks with other HR members to ensure that Daman’s Emiratisation programme embraces current best practices, • Develop and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Emiratisation-related initiatives across the company, • Manage the graduate development programme for high potential Emirati graduates, including the administration of training programmes, ongoing interaction with line management, mentors and the trainees themselves as well as the monitoring of quarterly performance assessments, development plans, external visits and project work, • Participate in the recruitment and selection of UAE nationals and ensures the effective management and development of UAENs across the company, • Travel to other Daman sites to attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required, • Develop key relationships with reputable educational institutions in UAE to source and recruit high potential undergraduates, • Ensure a regular and appropriate communication with the Talent team to align the Emiratisation development plans with the talent cycle in the company.
Job Requirements: • A bachelor degree in human resources or related fields, • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, • Worked with multicultural people at all levels, • Experience in design and delivery of development programmes, • Only UAE Nationals will be considered for this role. • Strong communication and organisation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, • Works well under pressure and goal oriented and works well within a team concept, • Adaptable, flexible and fast learner, • Strong analytical, execution, problem solving and decision making skills, • Respect and maintain confidentiality , • Demonstrate drive to ensuring results and quality of work, • Good level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions, • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and support teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables,
