The Events & Business Initiatives Manager manages and oversees day to day activities of the Commercial & University Events Office. Understands the roles of various departments within the university and helps identify opportunities to enhance and cultivate relationships with various internal & external stake holders. Oversees contract development and negotiation for both internal & external requests; integrating requirements for both internal & external deliverables and setting expectations to various service providers for a successful delivery Ensures all policies and procedures related to the Commercial & University Events Department’s day to day function are adhered at all times.
Required Work and Related Experience 5 years of experience in a higher education setting within UAE. Strong analytical background & problem solving skills. Project management experience. Events planning and operational experience Ability to work with & oversee multiple teams. Strong financial acumen Extremely organized/excellent time management skills Preferred Work and Related Experience Working with government organization a plus Required Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
