General Description: The position is responsible to undertake all activities pertaining to full cycle of talent acquisition which starts from discussing priorities and timelines with business units, developing job adverts/ headhunting, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, assisting selection process and negotiating final offer with the objective to attract and hire employees who meet all the requirements of assigned business units. Main Duties: • Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all requests/enquiries regarding recruitment in general are responded in a professional and timely manner • Ensure that all position vacancies assigned are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted timeline • Utilize the best available resources such as social media platforms to carry out a proactive talent search approach, source the best candidates and at the same time reduce recruitment costs • Prepare job advertisement for all assigned vacancies through suitable recruitment channels • Post vacancies and review all applications from different sources according to the job requirements as outlined in the job descriptions • Liaise with external recruitment agencies to source candidates for hard to fill roles when required • Conduct pre-screening interviews either face to face or via telephone • Carry-out reference checks and ensure completeness of required documentations submitted by candidates • Shortlist applications based on the requirements of the job descriptions and forward the shortlisted applications to the relevant business unit heads for further short listing • Set-up interviews and accordingly send invites to candidates and respective interviewers • Advise candidates on the relevant steps of the recruitment process • Prepare offer of employment and contracts to selected candidates • Regularly update monitoring databases and tracking systems in order to keep up-to-date records of vacancies and applicants as reliable source in organising workload, statistical reports and update for HR management, business units and other relevant external entities such as regulators • Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to and support in its enhancement by recommending some improvements • Ensure the confidentiality of every application during the recruitment process • Support other team members in the recruiting and selection process as may be needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR; experience in corporate recruiting is preferred • Bachelor’s Degree in any field; degree in Human Resources field of study will be a plus. • Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage • Good analytical, execution, problem solving and decision making skills • Ability to acquire and apply new skills • Flexible and able to work under pressure • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work • Proactive and results oriented whilst ensuring high quality of work • Advance level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications • Knowledge and exposure on HR processes and best practices is a plus • Knowledge of UAE employment laws, industry practices, trends and issues is preferred • Skills in database management and record keeping • Good interpersonal and coaching skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
