Responsible to take part in camp inspection (internal & external) and reporting the fire & safety related findings. Responsible for the facilities in the area where he is assigned by Senior Safety Officer Accountable to conduct safety induction for new recruits Accountable to report all the deficiency, damage or breach of safety to concerned dept. foreman / supervisor & Superintendent Responsible to issue all the hot work permit / cold work permit & confined space entry permit on the vessels & inside the ADSB yard. Keeping a record of permits issued on each day which is to be forwarded to Senior Safety Officer. Inspection of scaffolding (fixed / mobile) for approval & weekly inspection with report submission. Take part in monthly safety walk around in the yard with different department facilities and reporting the short comings for betterment of safety. Take part in warehouse inspection (internal & external) and reporting the fire & safety related findings Leak test for cylinder valves and connections to be done twice in a month with report submission Safety inspection of vessels under repair, refit and under construction with report submission Accident investigation to find out the root cause of the incident and reporting. Safety inspection of sub-contractors in the yard to ensure safe work practice is being carried out. Conduct bi-weekly internal audit of the vessel in the yard and report filing Conducting bi-weekly toolbox talk meeting to enhance safety awareness among the employees. Conveying the points of risk assessment it to the work force through foreman / supervisors Monthly inspection of sea trail procedure to make sure the safety aspects are being followed and in place. Monthly safety inspection of machinery to be done and report to be generated. Quarterly eye wash station inspection according to the checklist for ensuring its performance. Any job related matter to be discussed with Senior Safety Officer prior to report to other higher officials. He should not leave the ADSB yard before the duty commences, if he want to leave the yard for any reason it is to be informed to the Sr. Safety Officer. Responsible for the aspect of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment at work and will be accountable for non-compliance of his obligation. Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment • Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude. • Employee is responsible for the aspects of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment at work and will be accountable for non-compliance of his obligation
