• Investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions • Provide advice and guidance to the team members when required • Test, install and monitor new changes implemented • Perform root cause assessment and debug all issues on Daman processes, and availability of applications • Identify software faults/bugs and communicate process problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders • Perform quality assurance check on the delivery of the supplier • Support the integration between business applications • Administer Daman processes environment by using appropriate tools and methodologies • Create, maintain, manage and update technical documentation for application problems with appropriate actions. • Participate in shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates. • Collaborate closely with the Applications and Processes Monitoring and Service Management Officers to improve quality of processes support service • Assist in capacity planning • Subject to occasional call or on-site support outside the working hours to provide consultation related to processes failure or to perform application/process deployment.
• Solid understanding of multiple core business processes • Solid understanding of multiple tier application architecture • Experience with large scale enterprise-level systems • Good knowledge of the recent web service technology • Solid understanding of web application technologies • Knowledge of Middleware technologies (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat,IIS) • Knowledge of service oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) concepts • Good knowledge of Linux • Good Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) • Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage • Good analytical, execution, problem solving and decision making skills • Ability to acquire and apply new skills • Flexible and able to work under pressure • Respect and maintain a high level confidentiality • Proactive and results oriented whilst ensuring high quality of work • Advance level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables • Good knowledge of health insurance concepts • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
