Main Duties • Supports in the implementation of quality awareness in delivering efficient and cost effective services • Supervises and provides guidance, training and coaching to all team members, being held accountable for the performance of the Operations Team • Conducts all performance management related activities pertaining to the team, including target setting, mid-year reviews and year-end appraisals. • Supports the Section Head, FM & Procurement in ensuring appropriate staffing levels in the Operations Team by interviewing candidates and hiring new staff in coordination with the Recruitment Section • Supports in development, implementation and ensure adherence of policies and procedures • Provides input into the annual facilities budget and support the Section Head, FM & Procurement in the finalization of the budget for all Daman facilities • Promotes and supports the recruitment and development of UAE Nationals to significantly contribute to Daman’s strategic goals • Supervises, in coordination with concerned functions, various matters pertaining to office facilities management such as office furniture, allocation of space, office equipment, coordinate office refurbishment, renovation and construction work if required • Responsible in the overall supervision and monitoring of performance of third party contractors/suppliers and the outsourced staff to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, adhering to agreed SLA and KPIs • Supervises the administration of all general expenses such as electricity vouchers, water vouchers, lease agreements/ renewal, government authorities/landlord correspondence, business cards, etc. • Supervises all store and warehouse activates and review all stock in/out transactions
• Good business understanding and background • Good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills • Very good command of written and spoken English and Arabic • Very good analytical, planning, forecasting, execution and problem solving skills • Ability to acquire and apply new skills • Flexible and able to work under pressure • Respect and promote trust and confidentiality • Results oriented whilst ensuring high quality of work and able to “think out of the box” • Strong level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions • Able to manage a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables • Good knowledge of health insurance concepts • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
